Mary-Kate is my mother. I remember it was February 1963 when we went to Kathleen's wedding in England. She was so sad and I wondered why. It was not until the next year I understood why. Kathleen was not Mary-Kate's younger sister as I had always thought. I was informed by a neighbor that she was her daughter. What a shock to find she was my sister. So that explained the big row in Coventry that night after the wedding. Mammy took me and we left her brother's house and walked up and down the street for what seems like hours and all she say to me was don't worry we will be fine and she would cry again. Her sister Teresa found us and got mammy back in the house. My grandmother was there and gave out to her as always. To this day, I do not understand why granny had so much power over all her daughters. As young as I was I never ask her about Kathleen.
